What would you think if the helmet color was a 'buff' semi-gloss like the Vikings or Commanders? The semi shine has a depth that would really make the stripes pop. Maybe a deep gloss like the Jets? Or maybe a metallic gloss like the Pats or NO? Do the Bengals have a suggestion email box for design ideas?
