My Final Mock 2022

I did a no trades mock about a month ago and I was fairly happy with that draft so I will only make a few changes.

31 Roger McCreary CB Auburn 2nd choice would be Boye Mafe DE Minnesota, if Mafe is chosen then pick 95 s/b changed to Coby Bryant CB UC.

63 Daniel Faalele OT Minnesota, 2nd choice Tyler Smith OT Tulsa, 3rd choice Abraham Lucas OT WSU.

95 Cameron Thomas DE SD St, 2nd choice Josh Paschal KY, 3rd choice Troy Anderson LB Montana St.

136 Jake Ferguson TE Wisconsin, 2nd choice Jelani Woods TE Virginia.

174 Malcolm Rodriguez LB Oklahoma St.

209 Percy Butler FS LA Lafayette, 2nd choice Brad Hawkins S Michigan.

226 Samori Toure WR Nebraska.

252 Bailey Zappe QB W. KY, 2nd choice EJ Perry QB Brown.

Now to the much more fun trade down mock draft. As the draft gets closer Roger McCreary draft stock seems to be slipping due to concerns over his lack of length, which might force him to be a Slot CB in the NFL. IMO he will remain a boundary CB1. So I have targeted Eagles at pick 51 (20 spots down) as trade partner.

1st trade Bengals trade 31 to Eagles for picks 51, 83, 154 and 237. Net value trade Bengals 594.2 less than Eagles 600. Trade slightly favors Eagles.

2nd trade Bengals trade pick 83 to Texans for picks 107,108,183 and 245. Net value trade Bengals 175.6 more than Texans 175. Slight edge to Bengals

3rd trade Bengals trade pick 107 to Colts for picks 122,159 and 216. Net value trade Bengals 79.8 less than Colts 80. Slight advantage Colts.

4th trade Bengals trade pick 108 to Chargers for picks 123, 160 and 214. Net value trade Bengals 79 more than Chargers 78. Advantage Bengals.

5th trade Bengals trade pick 123 to Raiders for picks 126 and 227. Net value trade Bengals 47 less than Raiders 49. Advantage Raiders.

6th trade Bengals trade pick 160 to Rams for picks 175, 218 and 253. Net value trade Bengals 23.1 less than Rams 25.8. Advantage Rams.

So the net of the trades is basically Bengals move down 20 spots from 31 to 51 they receive 2 4th round picks (122 and 126), 4 5th round picks(154,159,175 and 183), 4 6th round picks (214,216,218 and 227) and 3 7th round picks (237,245 and 253). A total of 13 extra picks to move down 20 spots. I realize while all 6 trades by themselves are perfectly acceptable, the total scenario will be frowned upon by the majority of people on Cincy Jungle. I’m not really looking to argue the value of draft capital or how best to use it. To be honest when I do a mock draft, I am not trying to predict an actual outcome, what I am looking for is the next Tom Brady or George Kittle or Jordan Mailata. Somebody that in 5 or 10 or 20 years down the road, I can say "I told you". So if you are not into draft sleepers you might want to quit reading now.

When I give players physical attributes it’s listed as Height Weight, Forty, Bench Press, 3 cone, Short shuttle, Vertical jump, Broad jump.
