Head coach Zac Taylor’s staff with the Cincinnati Bengals has largely remained the same over the past two years. But after 27 total wins and back-to-back AFC Championship appearances, there is increased interest in his assistants.
Three of the five head coaching vacancies have been filled as we enter the month of February. There’s a good chance one of the last two spots go to a current Bengals coach, and other assistants could get promotions on newly formed staffs around the league.
Here’s what’s been reported about any and all Bengals assistant coaches garnering interviews or interest from other teams.
Brian Callahan, offensive coordinator
- Second interview with Indianapolis Colts
- Interview scheduled with Arizona Cardinals
Lou Anarumo, defensive coordinator
- Interview scheduled with Arizona Cardinals
Dan Pitcher, QB coach
- Signed extension with Bengals, implied future promotion to offensive coordinator
- Interview with Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Reported interest from Baltimore Ravens and others
