The Cincinnati Bengals won’t have star quarterback Joe Burrow for the remainder of the regular season, and some are thinking the injury may have been something fans didn’t know that he was dealing with.
Burrow wasn’t on the injury report, but he was seen wearing a compression sleeve, as the television broadcast noted multiple times. Burrow commented on the situation, saying that the two were unrelated.
Burrow reiterates the compression sleeve he wore on the plane wasn't connected to the injury.

Said he wore it as a way to make sure he wouldn't have any swelling when going up to that altitude. Says he does it from time to time in seasons.
Burrow is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ligament, brutally slashing the Bengals' odds to make the playoffs. They were among the preseason favorites to make a deep playoff run and even come out with the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
The follow-up question for Burrow is: what’s next? He has gone through several medical issues over the last few seasons, so the continued strain and rehab cannot be something that sits well with the high-profile quarterback.
Burrow will likely have surgery, but the goal should be that he’s back for OTAs next season. Whether that happens or not will be left to the team doctors and those aiding Burrow in getting back to 100%.
