The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are set to play their rematch of the most recent Super Bowl, where the Chiefs ended up on top.
This Chiefs team is quite different from last season’s squad. They have been far more reliant on their stout defense as Patrick Mahomes’ wide receivers not named Travis Kelce have struggled to be consistent. The defense has arguably been one of the best in football, though, and they are a big reason why they are at the top of the AFC with the likes of the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.
The Eagles look pretty identical. Jalen Hurts is balling out. It may not quite be at an MVP level, but he is still a big reason for their success. Wide receivers like AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are also one of the best duos in the league. The defense has again been sensational as one of the most stacked defensive lines you can have assembled.

This is obviously a big game as Kansas City tries to keep pace with the other top AFC teams. Philadelphia has only lost a single game this season, but a win here certainly pads their lead against several other NFC teams with three losses, Including the 7-3 Dallas Cowboys right behind them in the NFC East.
The edge may be which offensive line can keep their quarterback safest for the longest or if Mahomes or Hurts can make a play near the end of the game to make the difference.
These teams will probably at least end up in their respective conference championships. This could very well be another sneak peek at this year’s Super Bowl.
