The Bengals will already be without Joe Burrow for both Sunday and the remainder of the season, but things could still get worse if Cam Taylor-Britt, arguably the team’s best secondary player, misses the game.
CTB went down on the team’s Thursday Night Football showdown with the AFC North-leading Ravens. However, he is now listed as day-to-day and could take the field for Sunday’s matchup with the Steelers.
Taylor-Britt has a bruised quad, and it appears to be something he has been battling for several weeks, dating back to the Bengals win over the Cardinals in Week 5, Kelsey Conway reports.
Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt just told me he’s “day-to-day” right now and doesn’t know if he’ll play vs the Steelers

CTB said he’s been dealing with this injury for a while now, dating back to the game in AZ when he played through it. He has a bruised quad.
The Bengals' second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, CTB has become an instrumental part of the team’s secondary. He has started all 10 games and has four interceptions on the season.
Add in a forced fumble and 46 tackles, and this has been the best season so far for the 24-year-old. The Bengals won’t want to mortgage his long-term health for his presence Sunday, but it would be a welcome sight for fans, especially as the Steelers roll into town.
For now, expect a Jake Browning-led offense to take the field and look to claim a home win over Pittsburgh.
