Bengals lost Logan Wilson to injury vs. Steelers

This would be a huge loss to the Bengals defense.

The Cincinnati Bengals just suffered a painful 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, putting those already slim playoff hopes in serious jeopardy.

Adding injury to insult was standout linebacker Logan Wilson exiting the game in the fourth quarter due to an injury.

After the game, head coach Zac Taylor revealed Wilson sustained an ankle injury, though the severity of it is unknown at this time.

Entering Week 12, Wilson had racked up 79 total tackles, four tackles for loss, three interceptions, three QB hits, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and one sack.

Wilson has been in the news recently due to his tackles in Week 11 that led to a serious injury to Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews and a minor injury to quarterback Lamar Jackson.

However, that outcry was completely absurd, as Wilson did nothing wrong while making those tackles. Even Ravens players defended Wilson, which just tells you how ridiculous that ‘controversy’ was, especially when guys like T.J. Watt are doing this and getting little-to-no ire from the national media. Someone send this to Ian Rapoport.

Here’s to hoping this injury is just a minor setback and Wilson doesn’t miss much, if any game action for an already-suspect defense that can ill afford to lose him.
