Friday brings the latest injury report for the Cincinnati Bengals before they head south to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. With 12 players showing up on the injury report Thursday, the Bengals are hoping an extra day can get them healthy.
Let’s take a look at Friday’s injury report.
Good news for the Bengals as Chidobe Awuzie (illness) was back on the practice field. Listed as a full participant, Awuzie should be good to go Monday night. Trey Hendrickson was also back to a full participant after a rest day Thursday.
Tee Higgins (hamstring/ankle) was finally a full participant and is looking likely to play in Week 13. When speaking to the media, Higgins said the plan was for him to play. Higgins on the field could be a big boost for Jake Browning, who practiced in full despite his mysterious right wrist injury.
Cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (quad/ankle) was again limited. After missing the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Taylor-Britt seems to have a chance to go. Look for him to test the quad pregame to see how he feels.
Tight ends Tanner Hudson (finger) and Drew Sample (foot) were again full participants, as was Logan Wilson (foot/ankle). Barring any setbacks, we should see all three Monday night.
Offensive tackle D’Ante Smith (knee) and linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither (rest) were both limited again Friday, and defensive lineman Jay Tufele (illness) did not practice.
For Jacksonville, they head in to Monday night relatively healthy.
Cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring), running back Travis Etienne (ribs), tight end Luke Ferrell (toe), and tight end Brenton Strange (foot) were all listed as limited and look good to go. They are the only players on the report.
