Joe Burrow becomes Jake Browning’s wingman

That’s a real teammate.

Joe Burrow may be done for the year, but he’s still making an impact on his Cincinnati Bengals teammates.

The latest example of this? Burrow actually played the role of wingman for the guy replacing him at QB.

Following the Bengals’ 34-14 win over the Indianapolis Colts, Jake Browning said that Burrow hooked him up with a suite for his girlfriend, family, and other friends to take in today’s game at Paycor Stadium.

Browning’s entourage was treated to another standout performance by the fifth-year QB, who completed 18/24 passes for 275 yards (11.5 avg) and two touchdowns vs. one interception while taking no sacks. He also had a rushing touchdown in the second half that effectively put the game out of reach, improving his record as an NFL starter to 2-1.

And this is with Browning briefly leaving the game with what appeared to be a hand injury, but it was thankfully just cramps, as he later returned and finished out what was a dominating win over a Colts team that’s still holding one of the AFC’s final playoff spots.

If Browning keeps this up, Burrow may need to hook him up with some postseason suites.
