Zac Taylor facing a Vikings coach he had a confrontation with in previous matchup

Zac Taylor is generally a pretty calm guy, but there was a near confrontation in his last match against Brian Flores.

Zac Taylor is definitely not the type of coach to typically get involved in any sort of brawl.

However, in a 2020 matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, a bench-clearing brawl had both head coaches involved.

One of those head coaches happens to be current Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Under Flores, the Viking's defense has been thriving, and it will certainly bring a touch matchup to a surging Bengals squad.

Looking back at the brawl from the 2020 matchup, it all began on a punt return when Mike Thomas slammed into Jakeem Grant well before the ball arrived. After this, the Dolphin's sideline charged toward the Bengal's sideline, including Flores, who ended up having to be restrained and pulled back to his own sideline.

This kind of aggression is definitely something you typically don’t see from a coach and not something you want to see, as it's never a good thing when fights break out, and players risk getting hurt outside of the realm of play.

Hopefully, the game on Saturday stays relatively calm, and the Bengals will be able to come out with the victory, which they didn’t do in the 2020 matchup against Brian Flores.
