Challenge accepted.

The Cincinnati Bengals are in the thick of the AFC playoff race with a big game coming up Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Paycor Stadium has become a tough place for opponents to play. With renewed fan energy over the last three seasons and the organization making massive strides in the game day experience, Paycor has become a great home field advantage.

While it has been great, head coach Zac Taylor has asked for just a little more out of fans heading to the game this Saturday.

“I do challenge our fans. We’ve got outstanding fans,” Taylor said.

“Drink one more drink and rush in the stadium and be as loud as you can humanly, possibly be,” he finished.

A challenge similar to University of Kentucky coach Mark Stoops put out to their fans has been issued to Cincinnati, with fans likely to answer the bell.

A Saturday game may be the perfect time for it. With a lot of people off work the following Sunday, they may be more inclined to take in a higher volume of spirits at the tailgate lots. Whether you’re at Longworth Hall, Bengal Jim’s tailgate in Lot E or at one of the many other spots, Taylor wants you to bring the tailgate energy into the stadium.

If you’re going to the game, get there early. Fire yourself up and be ready to scream for about three hours.

We, of course, encourage you to always do so responsibly.
