Bengals vs. Vikings Injury Report: Ja’Marr Chase gets DNP; Justin Jefferson limited

It’s an estimated injury report, but still something to monitor.

Because the Cincinnati Bengals host the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, both teams held their first practice of the week on Tuesday. However, it was more of a walkthrough with an estimated injury report.

The most notable news was that Ja’Marr Chase got a DNP due to an ankle injury. Because it’s an estimation, there’s no telling if this is minor or something capable of holding him out this week, which would be a big loss against a Vikings defense playing at an elite level right now.

The only other DNP was Joe Bachie (oblique), while Tyler Boyd (foot/ankle), DJ Turner II (ankle), and Mitchell Wilcox (knee) were limited.

Jake Browning (forearm) and Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder) went full.

As for Minnesota, the big news is Justin Jefferson went limited after suffering a scary chest injury this past Sunday, so it looks like there’s a good chance he’ll play Saturday.

Top running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) got a DNP, as did backup wideout Jalen Nailor (concussion) and starting right tackle Brian O’Neill (ankle).

Starting guards Ed Ingram (hip) and Dalton Risner (ankle) were both limited.
