Update: The Cincinnati Bengals have added tight end Drew Sample and offensive lineman Jackson Carman to the injury report for Saturday’s game vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Both players are questionable to play because of an illness.
Carman has played in just one game this year, so that wouldn’t be a loss.
Sample, however, has essentially been a starter and played 82 offensive snaps over the last two weeks and been a reliable blocker, so that would be a setback for the offense if he can’t play Saturday.
Below is the updated injury report.
For the Bengals, everyone is expected to go with one potential exception in backup linebacker Joe Bachie, who is questionable to play due to an oblique injury.
Ja’Marr Chase (ankle), DJ Turner (ankle), and Tyler Boyd (foot/ankle) are all good to go after being limited in practice at some point this week with their injuries.
As for the Vikings, they have ruled out running back Alexander Mattison (ankle), while All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson (chest) is questionable.
Right tackle Brian O’Neil (ankle) and backup wideout Jalen Nailor (concussion) are also out.
Backup guard Chris Reed (illness) is questionable.
