Twitter reactions to the Bengals’ RIDICULOUS win over the Vikings

Cincinnati refused to back down.

No Joe Burrow. No DJ.. Reader. And then no Ja’Marr Chase.

In the end, it didn’t matter.

Jake Browning and the Cincinnati Bengals continued their bizarre but inspiring run toward the playoffs by defeating the Minnesota Vikings 27-24 in overtime.

Cincinnati was down 17-3 in the third quarter, but the Bengals came back to win in the extra period.

A whole lot happened in between, including a pick-six that was negated by an offsides penalty and a big third-down throw to Tee Higgins in overtime that should’ve resulted in a defensive pass interference call.

But ultimately, the Bengals came up with the right plays at the right time.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to an up-and-down game with more than its fair share of exhilarating moments:

It was, no doubt, a team effort that demonstrated the level of camaraderie and resilience this roster has, as well as its confidence in coaching.

Browning, of course, deserved a lot of credit for grinding out a tough win against one of the top defenses in the leagues.

The best part? At 8-6, the Bengals are very much still in the playoff race.

Next week, the Bengals take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road.
