The Bengals will be a very rare road favorite in Pittsburgh

The Bengals are 2-5 in the last seven games being favored in Pittsburgh, but they won in that very scenario last year.

The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for round two with the Steelers this season, this one being in Pittsburgh.

The Bengals fell to the Steelers a few weeks ago in Jake Browning’s first career start, but Browning and company have seemed to find their groove since that day.

Historically, it’s been a tough road trip for Cincinnati playing in Pittsburgh, even when favored.

Heading into Saturday, this is just the eighth time in the last 54 road trips that the Bengals have been favored in Pittsburgh, according to Pro Football Reference (via Jay Morrison).

In the previous seven games with the Bengals being favorites, the team has posted a 2-5 record.

However, the Bengals were favorites last season in Pittsburgh, repping the White Tiger uni combo, even without Ja’Marr Chase, and still put up 37 points.

Can the Bengals pull out back-to-back wins in Pittsburgh as favorites without Chase?
