Looking for some good news? Or a silver lining?

If you are looking for some good news after the Cincinnati Bengals’ blowout loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, I may have something.

The Bengals are currently sixth in the NFL with available cap space going into 2024, according Over The Cap.

The Titans, Commanders, Patriots, Colts, and Texans round out the top five, with Cincinnati entering that chat at number six.

The Bengals currently have 58.2 million dollars in projected salary cap room per Jason_OTC on X.

Cincinnati will have numerous big names heading to free agency this upcoming season, like DJ Reader, Chidobe Awuzie, Tyler Boyd, and more. The Bengals will still be able to hit Tee Higgins with the franchise tag if an extension isn’t agreed upon during the offseason, though it remains to be seen if that option is realistically on the table.

Cincinnati will have a chance to reset the roster in free agency and the draft as the team looks to bounce back in 2024.
