In the Christmas spirit, Joe Burrow’s family helped deliver 5,000 meals to schools in the Athens City School District last week.

Burrow’s parents, Jim and Robin Burrow, helped deliver the meal to another local nonprofit last week using a van donated by the Joe Burrow Foundation.

The Joe Burrow Foundation has paired with the Athens City School District La Soupe, based in Cincinnati, to deliver meals weekly to the Athens City School District for a year. That will provide 60,000 meals.

In addition to serving Athens, the van will serve the Greater Cincinnati area.

As part of the partnership between the La Soupe and Athens Schools District, it “will also provide funding for another 60,000 servings to be distributed at home in Cincinnati,” per a report from WKRC.

The Athens native and Cincinnati Bengals franchise quarterback continues to make a difference off the field in his home state alongside his family.
