Having Ja’Marr Chase would go a long way in turning that dream into a reality, but will the star wideout be able to suit up?
Chase is recovering from a separated shoulder/AC joint sprain suffered in Week 15 and didn’t play in Week 16. Ian Rapoport initially reported that there was a very real chance Chase would miss multiple games, but it sounds like Chase could return this week vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
During his Wednesday meeting with the media, Zac Taylor said that Chase participated in the team’s morning walkthrough and could suit up at Arrowhead.
“We’ll see how much he can handle,” Taylor said of Chase.
Without Chase, the Bengals only mustered up 11 points in their Week 16 beatdown at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s hard to see a game at Arrowhead going much better if Chase can’t play, as the Bengals need all hands on deck to win what’s going to feel every bit like a playoff game.
Let’s hope Chase is healthy enough to suit up.
