Of the 15 finalists, only cornerback Eric Allen (18) and safety Darren Woodson (16) have been eligible longer. Safety Rodney Harrison is also 11 years eligible.

Taylor-Britt, a second-year player, has been on the Reserve/Injured list since Dec. 4 with an ankle injury. Today starts a 21-day period during which he may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. He is eligible to be activated to the roster at any time during that period.

A second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Taylor-Britt was on pace to surpass his numbers from last year, totaling 46 tackles (37 solo) and logging four interceptions for 65 total return yards and one return touchdown.

However, all hope is not lost. While the Bengals don't need to win out, doing so will certianly help, as well as scoreboard watch and hope for at least one (if not two) losses from the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Former Cincinnati Bengals legend Willie Anderson named finalist for 2024 Hall of Fame class
In November, Anderson was named a semifinalist for the Hall's class of 2024. The former right tackle was also named a finalist for the Hall's Class of 2023 last year, along with Ken Riley, who was elected as a senior member.
