The Cincinnati Bengals will be heading into Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

This is as close to a must-win game for the Bengals as possible. It keeps their playoff hopes realistic rather than going down the rabbit hole of practically making a conspiracy theorist board of connecting scenarios for them to make it.

Cincinnati will need help regardless to get in at this point to make it to the postseason for a third straight year, but it is a familiar foe in the Chiefs standing in their way. This is a down year for Kansas City as well, and their receiving group has been lackluster at best.

Usually, the Chiefs have been in the running for the No. 1 seed, but they are out of the running for that. It seems like Patrick Mahomes will have to play his first road playoff game this season if the Super Bowl champions are going to get back to the mountaintop.

It is disappointing that this won’t be another chapter in the Joe Burrow vs. Mahomes saga, but neither team is going to use that as an excuse because the standings won’t take that into account either way. The Chiefs need this win to keep their seeding as high as possible and help close off the backdoor chance of the Las Vegas Raiders stealing the division, and the Bengals need it to keep hope for this season alive.

There is no love lost in this rivalry no matter the circumstances.

Here is how to watch the Bengals take on the Chiefs.
