Evan McPherson thought he missed the go-ahead field goal in 4th quarter vs. Jaguars

The Bengals kicker’s reactions said it all!

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Expectations were low surrounding the Cincinnati Bengals as they were set to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football.

Not only were the Bengals without Joe Burrow, but the franchise hadn’t won a road MNF game since the 1990 NFL season.

However, Jake Browning and company marched into Jacksonville and took down a top AFC team, 34-31, a potential spark toward making a run toward the 2023 NFL Playoffs.

The game was tied 28-28 late in the fourth quarter, with a chance to take the lead as Evan McPherson jogged onto the field.

McPherson nailed the go-ahead field goal, but according to his reaction, he did not seem to think so!

Take a look below.

Here is the field view of his reaction as well...

Money Mac did miss a 50+ field goal earlier in the game, but he not only nailed the go-ahead field goal at the end of regulation, he also hit the game-winning field goal in overtime.

Good times.
