I looked at the 1st round picks since 2000 (before 2023) and listed all first round picks as awful, average, good or great. I wonder how others with grade these. Bengals has 2 in one year. I did not look at who they passed on (Ross was just awful, passing on Mahomes is just salt in the wound).

But for the last couple of years, draft results would look pretty poor.
