The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best wideout rooms in the league heading into the 2023-24 season, as the offense looks to maintain the high level of play fans have come accustomed to.
With Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd all looking to make a major impact once again this year, it is the structure of accountability inside the position room that has this group poised for another big year.
Leading the charge in that room is none other than Chase. He spoke with WPCO and had this to say about how he is looking to hold the other receivers accountable heading into the season.
“Yeah, it’s just accountability. Making sure everyone’s being great. Gotta hold everybody accountable,” Chase said. “I told Tee that, you know, I say I’m always on Tee and I told Tee that, I want you to do the same thing to me, even though Tyler’s the vet, I still be on him too just because he’s the vet. It’s easy for a vet to do whatever they want. I just don’t want him slacking off. I don’t want me slacking off, I don’t want Tee slacking off. I wanna hold everybody accountable. I wanna be great.”
The Bengals’ offense has been superb the last several seasons. With Chase heading into his third season, it appears he is ready for this group to hit a whole new level.
Should be fun to watch.
