The Browns, however, have locked up the fifth seed in the AFC, and no matter what happens on Sunday between the AFC North rivals, the Browns will still have the 5th seed, and the Bengals will be done.
It looks as though wide receiver Tee Higgins may miss Sunday’s game, the last game on his rookie contract, as the Bengals labeled him as doubtful after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury suffered in the Chiefs game.
Also on the injury report are cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, who is questionable after missing practice on Friday with a shoulder injury, as well as fellow cornerback Jalen Davis, who was limited on Friday with a groin issue.
The Bengals, entering the final game of the season, will be playing for pride. There are a lot of guys who will be playing for their future in the NFL, to get as much good tape out there as possible. Hopefully, Higgins will be able to join them. If not, it’ll just be the cherry on top of a frustrating 2023 season.
As far as the Browns are concerned, they have ruled out defensive end Myles Garrett, wide receiver Amari Cooper, cornerback Mike Ford, kicker Dustin Hopkins, cornerback Greg Newsome II, and safety Juan Thornhill.
The Browns also have a group of players listed as questionable, including punter Corey Bojorquez, wide receiver Elijah Moore, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin, and middle linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk.
