The Bengals will not participate in the NFL Playoffs, but they finished the year on a high note and ended with a winning record. Cincinnati finished the year 9-8, despite losing numerous key pieces for extended amounts of time due to injury.
The Bengals lost Joe Burrow to a season-ending wrist injury back in November, but Jake Browning stepped in and played well the remainder of the year.
Browning finished the season with 1,936 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, and three rushing touchdowns. After the win against the Browns, Browning made a statement about what he has proved during his time as the Bengals starter.
"I'm one of the top 32 quarterbacks in the world and happen to be on a roster with a quarterback who's proven to be top five."— Jeremy Rauch (@FOX19Jeremy) January 7, 2024

Browning believes he is a top-32 quarterback in the world, but he is on the same roster as Joe Burrow. It will be an interesting offseason for the Bengals, with a lot of uncertainty at numerous positions.
As of now, Browning is slated to be an exclusive rights free agent, so it’s likely he’ll be back with the Bengals.
