Andy Dalton Nominated For FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week

For the third time in as many weeks, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week. Dalton was nominated in week six for his performance against the Bills, losing out to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles.

Dalton was again nominated for his performance against the Detroit Lions in week seven, which went to Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

Dalton is being nominated for his performance against the New York Jets last week, throwing for 325 yards passing and five touchdowns during Cincinnati's 49-9 win on Sunday.

Also nominated this week are New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (26 completions, 332 yards, five touchdowns), and Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (448 yards, touchdown).
