Terence Newman Nominated for GMC Never Say Never Moment

Terence Newman's fumble return for a touchdown is being recognized as one of the top moments from week three.

Andy Lyons

It's the play that you won't forget this year. In our excel spreadsheet for biggest plays of the 2013 season, it's already listed as number one. It's also the play that caused Dave Lapham to go from analyst to rabid fan.

The fumble return for touchdown, giving Cincinnati their eventual 34-30 win over the Green Bay Packers.

It's perhaps one of the most exciting plays that I can remember for its unorthodox scoring dating back Peter Warrick's punt return for a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in '03.

As a result, Newman's score was nominated for the GMC Never Say Never Moment.

Also nominated is Brian Hoyer, who completed seven of 11 passes for 55 yards, capped by a game winning seven-yard touchdown to Jordan Cameron with 51 seconds remaining. Ryan Tannehil rallied the Miami Dolphins from a 10-point deficit until he conducted a 13-play, 75-yard drive, giving Miami a 27-23 win on a game-winning touchdown to Dion Sims with 39 seconds remaining.

Make sure you vote for Newman today!
