With their sixth loss of the season, the Cincinnati Bengals seem to be looking ahead to 2018. There were a number of individual performances that could have led to a big win for the club in Tennessee, but the club still fell just short.
Regardless, it’s time to cast your vote for this week’s Bengals MVP and sound off on your winner!
Quarterback Andy Dalton: The Bengals’ signal-caller had some struggles and battled through more poor protection to nearly bring the Bengals a huge victory. Thanks to a 70-yard score to A.J. Green, Dalton finished 20-of-35 for 265 yards and two scores.
Wide receiver A.J. Green: After he exploded in a fistfight with Jalen Ramsey last week, the star receiver looked to atone for his ejection. He had what seemed to be a game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter and finished with five catches for 115 yards and the big 70-yard score.
Wide receiver Brandon LaFell: Even though he didn’t do much in the second half, LaFell had an outstanding first two quarters of the game. LaFell teamed with Green to be a great weapon for Dalton and finished with six catches for 95 yards and one touchdown.
Cornerback Darqueze Dennard: There were various ups and downs for the Bengals’ defense on Sunday, but the fourth-year corner was a big factor in Tennessee. He had an interception which led to a Joe Mixon touchdown, shut down receivers like Corey Davis when tasked with guarding them and had three tackles.
