Highlight reel plays were tough to come by this week, as the stout Bills defense clamped down on the Bengals’ offense. It was a particularly ineffective first half of the game by Cincinnati’s offense, as the team didn’t score until the second half.

Darius Phillips’ interception of Josh Allen: Cincinnati was down by two touchdowns, but somehow kept hanging around to potentially make it a close contest. Phillips’ interception of Allen in the third quarter kickstarted the Bengals’ comeback.

Andy Dalton’s 1-yard touchdown run: While the yardage wasn’t much, the trickery of the ball was pretty fun. On an option run, Dalton kept it as the Bills defense sold out on tackling Joe Mixon. The touchdown cut Buffalo’s lead to 14-7.

Joe Mixon’s touchdown reception: Like the Dalton score, this play didn’t take up much real estate, but was a beauty because of it fooling the Bills defense. Mixon came out of the backfield after a play-action and Dalton floated the game-tying pass to his running back in the fourth quarter.

Joe Mixon’s 33-yard reception: The Bengals’ running back had a long reception on a screen pass, as the Bengals’ offensive line set it up nicely. This play and a 29-yard grab by Tyler Boyd on third down helped give the Bengals a temporary, late lead on a Randy Bullock field goal.
