Leon Hall, Reggie Nelson, Dre Kirkpatrick sit during Thursday's practice

Terence Newman and BenJarvus Green-Ellis were upgraded to full participants on Thursday's practice; however Leon Hall, Reggie Nelson and Dre Kirkpatrick sat.

US PRESSWIRE

For the second time in as many practices, defensive backs Leon Hall, Reggie Nelson and Dre Kirkpatrick rested with hamstring injuries. Kirkpatrick has been dealing with a hamstring for a couple of weeks. Nelson and Hall suffered their hamstring injuries during Terence Newman's game-winning fumble return for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday.

Offensive guard Mike Pollak, who suffered a knee injury against the Indianapolis Colts during the preseason finale last month, also sat. We have to wonder how much longer the Bengals will keep Pollak before looking into an injury settlement.

Newman and BenJarvus Green-Ellis were limited on Wednesday with a knee and ankle respectively, but were full participants Thursday.
