The Cincinnati Bengals, who have lost two of the past three, are coming off a bye week for an important week 13 game in San Diego, who recently snapped a three-game losing streak in a dramatic last-second touchdown to hand Kansas City their second loss of the season.
The Chargers are 4-1 against teams with a winning record while the Bengals are 4-3 against teams with a losing record (not sure if there's much to learn there).
Regardless, it appears that the Cincinnati Bengals are opening as one-point favorites against the San Diego Chargers this weekend. A win for Cincinnati is significant due to the Ravens and Steelers playing each other. A loss will reduce Cincinnati's lead in the AFC North to one game to whomever wins Thursday Night's game.
However, a win maintains the two-game lead in the division. It also sets up possible advancement in the conference standings. A loss by the New England Patriots (to the Houston Texans) and the Indianapolis Colts (to the Tennessee Titans) will give Cincinnati the second seed if the Bengals beat the Chargers in San Diego.
