With 3:15 remaining in the first quarter from the Bengals three-yard line, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford took the shotgun snap and lobbed the football near the left sidelines for Calvin Johnson. Bengals cornerback Leon Hall appeared to trip on the surface after disrupting enough of the play to force an incomplete pass, and then began clutching his lower leg. Though he walked off under his own power, Hall was obviously shaken.
Leon Hall nearly in tears on sideline. Getting hugs from teammates. Seems he knows it's likely something bad.

Leon Hall just left on a cart crying. Taking tape off. Going to locker room.

Hall missed the final seven games in 2011 with an Achilles tear. Based on reports at Ford Field, his reaction seems to indicate that he knows that the injury is serious, perhaps even based on having torn his Achilles before.
