Bengals running back Giovani Bernard had been limited in practice this week after exiting the Dolphins game with a rib injury. According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Bernard "is planning to play" the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Had Bernard not been able to go, third-string running back Cedric Peerman would have replaced him and Rex Burkehad, most likely, would have been activated for the first time this year.
Bernard is second on the team with 361 yards rushing, but leads everyone with four rushing touchdowns. If you combine his 30 receptions, the rookie running back has generated 628 yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns, one shy of Marvin Jones' team leading seven.
