BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Vontaze Burfict sit during Thursday's practice

Green-Ellis is dealing with an illness and Burfict is dealing with a thigh, sitting during Thursday's session -- but not expected to miss any time this Sunday.

With temperatures hovering around single-digits (or at least the teens with single-digit wind chills), the Cincinnati Bengals decided earlier this week to practice inside UC's indoor bubble and away from the frigid conditions. It's the second time this year that Cincinnati moved practice indoors, following the snow event from last Friday.

Cornerback Terence Newman didn't practice on Thursday, but you should expect he'll be out until noted otherwise.

Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis continues to sit with an illness but even if he misses Friday's practice, we don't see him sitting this weekend against the Steelers since he's not actually dealing with an injury. Traditionally, though not all of the time, the Bengals will sit someone after missing three straight practices. Green-Ellis has had a good stretch recently with three touchdowns scored in the past two games against the Chargers and Colts.

Linebacker Vontaze Burfict also sat on Thursday after being a limited participant during Wednesday's practice with a thigh. It's the first practice he's missed since the Wednesday leading up to the Cleveland Browns game.

UPDATE: It appears that James Harrison and Burfict have also been claimed by a bug going around. Both were out Thursday with an illness.
