Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Terence Newman was declared out earlier this week with an MCL sprain that he suffered against the Indianapolis Colts. Joining him are wide receivers Dane Sanzenbacher, Ryan Whalen, running back Rex Burkhead, tight end Orson Charles, offensive lineman Tanner Hawkinson and defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi.
Second-year cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick will start for the injured Newman. In a bit of a surprise, backup guard Mike Pollak will remain as the team's starting right guard, despite Kevin Zeitler being active. Pollak has been filling in for Zeitler, who hurt his foot against the Baltimore Ravens, since week 11. Zeitler practiced all week and was a full participant. Either they're just allowing additional rest or riding this wave of Cincinnati's reconfigured offensive line.
As for the Pittsburgh Steelers, defensive end Brett Keisel was declared out earlier this week. Joining him are nose tackle Steve McLendon, quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Derek Moye, cornerback Isaiah Green, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, offensive lineman David Snow.
