The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Tuesday that the team's home opener this Monday is sold out.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Tuesday that the team's home opener on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers has been declared a sellout. The game was projected as a sellout due to the rate of tickets being sold, with as few as a "couple hundred" last week. However, Monday Night games and games with Pittsburgh Steelers as the opponents generally sell out.

According to Andrew Brown, manager of ticket sales, said last week that sales were ahead of "where we were last year." Cincinnati will host the Green Bay Packers in week three and the New England Patriots in week five -- all 1 p.m. start times. According to Brown, both of those games are close to selling out as well.
