Bengals OT Andrew Whitworth suffered a concussion during Wednesday's practice

The number of Bengals players undergoing concussion protocols keeps growing. Whitworth joined Carlos Dunlap and James Harrison after the offensive lineman presumably suffered a concussion on Wednesday.

My initial reaction.

What the heck is going on in Cincinnati?

Originally believed to be a rest day, Bengals offensive tackle/guard Andrew Whitworth sat during Thursday's practice. However, when the team released the practice report on Thursday, Whitworth was listed with a concussion, which he reportedly suffered during practice on Wednesday -- due to the fact that he practiced and wasn't listed with any issues.

Whitworth is the third Bengals player undergoing concussion protocols this week, with Carlos Dunlap and James Harrison each suffering one from Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If he's unable to go, it's possible that Kevin Zeitler will return to right guard -- however Zeitler was limited in practice for a second straight day on Thursday -- sliding his replacement Mike Pollak to left guard.

Devin Still also showed up on the team' injury list with a back.
