Bengals OT Andre Smith says he'll be ready for the Ravens next week

Cincinnati Bengals starting right tackle Andre Smith sprained his ankle midway through the third quarter and didn't return. He told reporters after the game that he should be ready next week.

Following Cincinnati's 42-14 win over the Minnesota Vikings, offensive tackle Andre Smith told reporters after the game that he should be good to go next week against the Baltimore Ravens.

With 7:15 remaining in the third quarter, Giovani Bernard squeezed through significant congestion on a trap play with Smith pulling to the left (seriously). A Vikings defender crashed behind Andre Smith's legs and the offensive tackle fell awkwardly and was looked by trainers for a few minutes. Helped off the field, Smith eventually walked back to the locker room without a noticeable limp.

The team announced that Andre Smith wouldn't return with a sprained ankle soon after.

The Bengals moved Andrew Whitworth back to left tackle, Anthony Collins to right tackle and Mike Pollak entered the game to replace Whitworth at left guard. Kevin Zeitler, who came into the game on Cincinnati's third possession of the game, remained at right guard.
