Cincinnati Bengals tight ends Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert sat last week with a hamstring and neck injury respectively. With Gresham being a limited participant earlier this week and Eifert not practicing until Friday, both players entered the question as questionable.
According to Ian Rapoport on the NFL Network's Gameday First show, Gresham and Eifert are both "expected" to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
Both tight ends combined for 85 receptions, 903 yards receiving and six touchdowns this season. The last time that Cincinnati played San Diego, Gresham was completely shut out and Eifert posted one catch for nine yards.
Cornerback Terence Newman, according to Rapoport, isn't just doubtful... he's "extremely" doubtful. There's been enough progress this week (Newman practiced on Friday) that he could make his eventual return if the Bengals win Sunday and move on to the second round.
