Atlanta Falcons OT Jake Matthews declared out against the Bengals

Atlanta Falcons offensive tackle Jack Matthews has been declared out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced on Friday.

Jake Matthews, who suffered an ankle injury during Atlanta's win over New Orleans, left the stadium Sunday night in a walking boot. Matthews was originally going to start the season at right tackle, before left tackle Sam Baker suffered a season-ending knee injury. Gabe Carimi replaced Matthews on Sunday and is expected to again this Sunday.

The Falcoholic writes about Carimi:

Gabe Carimi has been taking plenty of reps at left tackle throughout the week. Regardless of his Pro Football Focus grade for Sunday's game, which seemed unduly harsh, I thought Carimi did fine filling in at left tackle on Sunday and I expect him to be better prepared and more comfortable against the Bengals this Sunday.
