Bengals WR A.J. Green not expected to play against the Panthers

This is apparently the same injury that he's been dealing with all year, initially suffered during practice in the lead-up to Cincinnati's week two game against the Falcons.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green threw his helmet and then one of his shoes during pre-practice stretches. After meeting with trainers and head coach Marvin Lewis, a cart retrieved the all-pro receiver. Green visited with a doctor on Thursday, confirming our suspicions.

Green won't play this weekend against the Carolina Panthers, according to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network.

This is apparently the same injury that he's been dealing with all year, initially suffered during practice in the lead-up to Cincinnati's week two game against the Falcons. He played only six snaps that game. Green came back strong against the Titans in week three with six receptions and 102 yards receiving. Following the bye week, Green added 81 yards receiving and a touchdown against the Patriots.

It's possible that Cincinnati could be without Green for multiple games.
