Cincinnati Bengals sign defensive tackle Kheeston Randall

The Cincinnati Bengals add their defensive tackle for this week against the Baltimore Ravens.

Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed second-year defensive tackle Kheeston Randall, the team announced on Tuesday. NFL player. Randall (6-5, 309; Texas) entered the NFL in 2012 as a seventh-round draft choice for the Miami Dolphins. He played in 12 games last season (gameday inactive for four) and recorded eight tackles. He played in all five of Miami’s 2013 preseason games, with one start, and was waived on Aug. 31.

Randall was one of six players that worked out for Cincinnati on Monday, including defensive back Michael Huff, offensive guard John Sullen, linebacker Bruce Taylor (or signed on the team's practice squad), defensive back Brandon Burton and defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi.

Bilukidi was originally signed by the team on Monday, but the league voided the contract due to Bilukidi's work permit having already expired once he was released by the Oakland Raiders last month.
