The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback Greg McElory to a Reserve/Future contract, the team announced on Tuesday. McEloy spent the entire season on the team's practice squad after being waived by the New York Jets with an injury settlement. He suffered a knee injury that forced him to miss the final three preseason games in 2013.
The Bengals have signed seven of eight players that finished the season on the team's practice squad. McElroy will join the team's active roster on the Monday following the Super Bowl, joining wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, center T.J. Johnson, defensive end David King, cornerback Onterio McCalebb, linebacker Bruce Taylor and center Scott Wedige, who were signed to the same deal on Monday.
Tony Dye remains the only unsigned player from the practice squad, but he can sign at any point.
