Bengals Activate Coffman, cut Foschi

I always liked Foschi, but maybe with the season pretty much a failure they want to get Coffman some experience

There were some shots of you displaying your frustration at times. Your first catch didn’t come until late in the game: "It’s been like that all year. Teams are taking me away. It’s very frustrating. They’re not allowing me to be available to help this team out. I was emotional, but in no way did it affect what we were doing out there on the field."

"We have to find some way to get 85 involved for this offense to come to fruition," Owens said. "I think that’s up to the offensive coaching staff. Chad is a great talent, and somehow we need to find a way to get him the ball early to mix it up and take advantage of his skills. We’ve just got to make him available. I’m doing what I can to take pressure off of him. When opportunities come outside one-on-one, we have to exploit that. Defensively, they try to take him out of the game."

"I had two shots and you can’t miss two field goals in such a close game, a division game," said Nugent. "I just got out there and hit the ball awful on both kicks. I didn’t put them through. I’ve been feeling really comfortable out there and everything felt great but the two that counted I didn’t put them through."

Before being a Monday Night Football analyst and a Super Bowl winning head coach, Gruden's football development had a stop in Dayton, where he attended the University of Dayton for three years. "It was a great place to go to college and a neat town," Gruden said. "It was a good small college football and getting to play on the Astroturf (at Welcome Stadium), that was big time. "Ohio football. There's nothing like it."

"They were 2-1 and everyone thought this was going to be the year but now they have had a four-game losing streak where a lot of things have happened," Gruden said. "Dropped passes, they lose containment on a blitz, penalties and they have a hard time getting any pressure. "I think if you sit back and look at it from an outsiders standpoint, you have a guy who can make passes because I still believe in Carson Palmer. They have three interesting receivers in Ochocinco, Owens and Shipley. They should be able to run it but Benson hasn’t done what I’ve expected him to do. Offensively they have chance to win every game. "Defensively if (Johnathan) Joseph and (Leon) Hall are healthy and someone can get pressure there’s some talent there. The linebackers have played in spurts this year. They need momentum right now and it’s not with them."
