The Cincinnati Bengals had a shot to get off of the schneid this week against the Jaguars, but a familiar outcome emerged. The team fell to 0-7, as Zac Taylor is still looking for his first regular-season win as an NFL head coach.
On this week’s “Chalk Talk”, I take a look at a terribly-executed play from the Jaguars game before quickly moving on to look at the upcoming matchup with Rams. Their running game and Todd Gurley have had some struggles.
After a terrific performance in Week 1, Gurley’s production has gone downhill. Last week against the Falcons, he averaged a mere 2.3 yards per carry.
I’ll look at how this happened. Can the Bengals defense who has struggled against the run all season duplicate it?
As the Bengals prepare for their game in London, I am joined by Paul Hirons of the Bengals UK podcast CinciNatter. We discuss the state of the Bengals, our disappointment with the new coaching staff, and the prospect of moving on from Andy Dalton.
How does somebody from the UK become a Bengals fan? Should the Bengals expect a warm welcome at Wembley?
