Just when you think this Bengals team is about to get healthier, another important player appears to have sustained a significant injury. After the dust settled from the team's gut-wrenching loss to the Ravens on Sunday, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports that one of the Bengals most important offensive linemen suffered a foot injury of some kind.
@Bengals RG Zeitler in boot this afternoon

Though we don't know the severity or location of Zeitler's injury, this has to be worrisome. The offensive line is coming off of two consecutive performances that could be deemed as the worst in 2013 and need as many able bodies that can be had in their impending game against the Browns. Though the line has remained mostly healthy this year, offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth has battled his share of ailments this season as well.
Our own Josh Kirkendall has a hypothesis on when the injury occurred and how when I asked him about it:
"I believe Zeitler suffered an injury on the first play of the fourth quarter, he was rolled up during the quarterback sack. He played every single snap on Sunday, so I think it would be reasonable to call it precautionary. Take a look at the screen shot where I think it happened."
It very well could be precautionary as Kirkendall theorizes, but the injury report this week will tell us the true story. He hasn't missed a game in his short career and was a very durable player at Wisconsin as well, so it would be a bit of a surprise if the Zeitler had to sit this week.
