Fourth-year cornerback Brandon Ghee played the first two preseason games against the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans, but hasn't played nor practiced since, undergoing an extremely long concussion protocol process. Due to injuries with Dre Kirkpatrick and Adam Jones, it's forced the Bengals to add additional layers of depth in Curtis Marsh (free agent signing), Chris Lewis-Harris (53-man roster promotion), and now safety Chris Crocker, who has experience as a slot cornerback.
However, Ghee appears to be close.
According to Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com, Ghee said that he's been cleared to practice.

Currently the Bengals have seven cornerbacks on the roster, and that's not including Crocker who can step in if needed.
