Along with Andrew Hawkins practicing for a second time in as many days, linebacker Rey Maualuga and cornerback Terence Newman returned to practice on Thursday after sitting on Wednesday with a hamstring and ankle respectively (though both worked on the sideline). In the past month, Newman has been dealing with a hip, abdomen and now an ankle. Barring anything serious from now until Sunday, both are expected to play.
Marvin Jones, on the other hand, is iffy. For the second time in as many days, Jones sat with a bum shoulder that he suffered during his touchdown reception against the Detroit Lions. Wallace Gilberry, who was a full participant during Wednesday's session, was out on Thursday, joined by running back Rex Burkhead (though he'll probably just be a game-day inactive anyway).
Regardless, the Bengals are getting healthier -- except for the fact that Leon Hall and Devon Still are confirmed out this weekend against the Jets.
As for the Jets, wide receiver Santonio Holmes sat and tight end Jeff Cumberland was limited again; though head coach Rex Ryan "feels pretty good" about his tight end.
