NFL Free Agency Day 4 Transactions

It was another whirlwind day for the NFL, even though it was just another day at the office for the Bengals.

-- The Steelers announced a new five-year deal for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, though the deal wasn't signed and terms were not disclosed.

-- The New Orleans Saints continued their fire sale by trading wide receiver Kenny Stills to the DolphinsInitial reports say that Stills will be dealt for a third round pick and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe.

-- Kansas City Chiefs Acquired OL Ben Grubbs from New Orleans for an undisclosed draft pick. Signed LS James Winchester to a two-year contract.

--Brian Orakpo signed a hefty four-year, $32 million contract with the Tennessee Titans. The former first round pick has 40 sacks in six seasons.

--After losing DeMarco Murray to the Eagles, the Cowboys grabbed veteran running back Darren McFadden in free agency. The two-year deal is for $5.85 million.

--The Saints boosted their running game after trading away receiving weapons so far, as they signed C.J. Spiller on Friday. They made cap space by releasing cornerback Corey White.

--The Buccaneers signed defensive tackle Henry Melton, linebacker Bruce Carter and safety Chris Conte.

--Washington signed veteran defensive tackle Terrance Knighton to a one-year deal and re-signed cornerback Justin Rogers.

--The Colts made their ouster of running backs Michael Hill and Trent Richardson official. Both players were placed on waivers.

--Bills signed DT Kyle Williams to a contract extension.Cleveland Browns Re-signed DL John Hughes to a contract extension.

--Broncos agreed to terms with S Darian Stewart on a two-year contract.

-- Lions re-signed S Isa Abdul Quddus to a one-year contract. Signed LB Josh Bynes to a two-year contract and DT Tyrunn Walker to a one-year contract.

--Jaguars signed WR-KR Bryan Walters.
