Cowboys signing La'el Collins, per report

The Dallas Cowboys are loaded on their line, and it just got even better with La'el Collins.

The La'el Collins saga is finally over, which is great news for Collins.

The Dallas Cowboys are signing the former LSU offensive tackle, according to Charean Williams. This is a huge steal for Dallas, as they're getting a first-round talent not only as an undrafted free agent, but signing Collins to a three-year deal that will only pay out around $1.5 million.

Collins went undrafted after an ex-girlfriend of his was murdered right before the draft. It was believed at the time she was carrying Collins' unborn child. The child died a week after him mom's death and it has since been since revealed the baby was not Collins'.

Since the draft has ended, Collins met with police on Monday to discuss Brittany Mills’ murder, and he at no point has been identified as a suspect. Collins merely has been a person of interest for obvious reasons, and it looks like he had nothing to do with the two deaths.

According to Yahoo Sports' Rand Getlin, the Bengals were among a handful of teams to workout Collins before the draft. After spending a first and second-round pick on offensive lineman though, signing Collins looked unlikely for Cincinnati.

Then again, Dallas is also loaded on their line, and now it just got even better.
